A huge congratulations to the four Bride Rovers girls that were selected on Cork panels for the upcoming season. Grace Culloty and Laura Quirke selected on the minor panel and Katie Quirke and Sarah Murphy selected on the U16 panel. Well done ladies. Best of luck to you all for the coming year.
Bride Rovers girls played an active part in bringing home the cup for Loreto Junior A Footballers in their Munster Final victory against stiff opposition from John The Baptist Community School on Friday last in Kildorrery. Conditions were good and despite being 1-3 to 1-4 down at half time Loreto started the second half with gusto and cruised home well deserved winners with a final score of 5-10 to 1-7. Rover players were Grace Culloty, Katie Qurke, Siobhan O'Sullivan, Andrea Quinn O'Donovan, Lucy Hicks and Talitha O'Neill. Loreto will go on to play their All Ireland Semi Final in February, 2016 (will keep you posted).
