Seven acres of land was bought in 1977,first game played in pitch in 1983,officially opened by County Board Chairman Con Murphy in 1985. Dressing room block is Aras de Barra in memory of Tom Barry N.T. founding secretary.Hurling Alley and small Astro Turf, officially opened by GAA president Christy Cooney, September 2011 and a larger Astro turf was officially opened by County Board Chairman Gerard Lane in 2015.13 acres of land was acquired from the Pyne Family in 2022 to develop 3 pitches close to Pairc na Bríde
