AGM on Dec 4th..
The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held on Friday December 4th To mark the fact that when the Club was reorganised in 1964 the first meeting was held in Bartlemy this years Annual meeting will also be held in Bartlemy Hall. The AGM will review the 2015 season and plan for next year.
On the playing front our only championship success was winning the East Cork Junior C Grade Hurling championship. All our teams competed well with the Senior hurling team putting in a great performance against Glen Rovers who went on to win the County Title. In football we played very few games. We lost the first round of the u21 championship and gave a walkover in the minor football championship. We will certainly have to review this situation and take steps to ensure that we promote football in a better fashion.
On the Development front the biggest investment in the history of the Club took place with the completion of the All weather Astro Turf playing area. With further Sport Capital finance secured further progress can be made in the next year. The Annual General Meeting is open to all. If you are not currently a club member you are most welcome to join. 'Many hands make light work' they say and we are always anxious to get new people involved in the club.
