On Tuesday evening we played at home to Watergrasshill. The game was closely contested in the first half which was reflected in the score after thirty minutes of 2-4 to 1-7. U12 Football:

We played at home to Cloyne on Saturday afternoon. Both teams lined out with twelve players, and Cloyne led by ten points at half time. Bride Rovers were much stronger in the second half and kept better possession, defended well and converted some nice scores. With only a few minutes to go, there was just one point separating the teams but a late goal by Cloyne sealed a victory for the visitors.

Team: Cliona Edmunds, Alice Murray, Ruby Hicks, Alanna Broderick, Abbie Keating, Amy Kennedy, Caoimhe Barry, Kate Larkin, Kate O’Riordan, Michelle Geaney, Niamh O’Sullivan, Shauna Hayes, Mollie O’Connell, Ruby Brokerick, Lily Murray

U12 Camogie:

We played neighbours, Castlelyons, at home on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, we were unable to field a full team and lined out with eleven players aside. Although the opposition was far stronger on the day, Bride Rovers competed hard for every ball and never gave up. However, despite the home side’s spirited performance, Castlelyons were the decisive winners at the final whistle.

Team: Cliona Edmunds, Alanna Broderick, Naoise McCarthy,  Michelle Geaney, Ruby Hicks, Shauna Hayes, Ciara O’Flynn, Abbie Keating, Amy Kennedy, Niamh O’Sullivan and Kate Larkin.

U10 Football

The girls travelled to Youghal on Sunday morning. They did not have a full team and lined out with just ten players. However, they played extremely well but unfortunately Youghal were much stronger and won the game despite Bride Rovers’ tireless work rate.

Team: Sarah Buckley, Abbie Hoare, Abbie O’Connell, Oonagh Nagle, Emily Meek, Ava Barry, Emma Collins, Allanah O’Sullivan, Ruby Broderick and Mollie O’Connell.
