U6 andU8 Training:
Training for the U6s and U8s will continue at the new Bride Rovers'
astro pitch on Monday evenings at 6.30. This replaces the old venue of
the Loreto Hall and there is no charge. New players are welcome to
join.

U14 Camogie:

Bride Rovers travelled to Ballynoe to play St. Catherines on Friday morning. Both teams lined out with thirteen aside and it was an evenly matched pairing that was reflected in the full time result of a draw. Bride Rovers 4-1 St. Catherines 3-4

U14 Feile:

On Saturday, the under 14 footballers (Pictured above) travelled to Whitechurch to play in the Feile competition. In the first match, we lost to Aghada by a margin of six points. We played Inch in the second game, which was more closely contested but, unfortunately, we lost by two points. We then progressed to play Fermoy in the final of the Plate and it was lovely to secure a win, final score Bride Rovers 2-5 Fermoy 0-5. Well done to all the players who put in spirited performances throughout the afternoon.

Junior Camogie:

We had our first junior A camogie league match against Watergrasshill at home on Monday 6th April. We are up a grade since last year and as we were missing girls due to work and other commitments, this was going to be a very hard game. From the word go, the Hill were on the attack but our girls were fighting hard for every ball. About fifteen minutes into the game, Catherine Power received a injury to her ankle and had to be taken off. This was a big blow bu the girls continued to work hard but against a very strong Watergrasshill team, we found it very hard to get scores and the Hill ran out clear winners by the final whistle. Everyone on the team and management wish Catherine a speedy recovery and hopefully we will see her back soon.

Team: Sarah O’ Flynn, Aine Cashman, Madison Parle, Carol Noonan, Mary Hazelwood, Evelyn Collins, Emma Roche, Jennifer Cahill, Catherine Power, Meg Kelleher, Laura Quirke, Katie O’Connor, Emma Hazelwood, Meave Leamy, Chloe O’Flynn, Yris Bloemhoff, Trish O’ Sullivan, Maria oO’ Sullivan, Aoidean Cashman, Laura Pratt.
