Our U16's have played football and hurling league games and won both..
Bride Rovers 3-14 Cobh 3-3
We played our next football league game against Cobh at home on Saturday the 21st of March. We played well throughout the first half with some great defending from Christopher, John and Peter. Scores came from Conor 0-1 Conleith 0-3 (from frees) Brian 1-1 and Shane 0-1 Cobh scored 2-3 in the first half.
As the second half started Cobh scored a goal this was their last score of the game as Kieran Matthew and Jordan were sending the ball to the forwards. Conor scored 0-4, Conleith 1-3, Seamus 0-1, Cian 1-0 Ben brought off a fantastic save while Ciaran Eoin Tom and Griffin made some great passes.

Bride Rovers 3-13 Aghada 1-5
This game was played in Aghada last Monday night. We played against a strong wind in the first half Ben Griffin John and Seamus at the back were under pressure but were clearing a lot of ball. After some great work from Matthew Conleith scored 2 point one from a free. Tom and Peter linked with Brian for a point Jordan made a run from the back finding Brian for a point and Conleith scored 2 more points.Aghada scored 5 points before the break.
In the second half we took full advantage of the wind Brian scoring a goal from the throw in and Conleith winning the puck out for another point. Kieran Pointed a free and Brian found the net again. Eoin Shane and Conor all scored points.Ciaran Shaun and Craig were all introduced and played well. Conleith scored 1-3 before Aghada managed to score a goal before the final whistle.

U14 Feile Football
We contested the A Feile Football in The Glen on Saturday the 14 of March coming up against much stronger teams from Premier 1 and Premier 2 in Douglas, Inniscarra, St Nicks and Kilshannig. We were beaten in 3 of the games and won one.
Inniscarra 2-3 Bride Rovers 2-1
Oisin John Adam and Luc played well at the back. Patrick scored 1-1 and Shaun scored 1-0 which wasn't enough as iniscarra scored 2-3.
 
Douglas 3-9 Bride Rovers 0-0
Douglas were a lot stronger than us in this game but Shaun saved a penalty and saved a point blank shot. Ruairi had a great game while Craig and Ronan were chasing everything. Douglas won out Cork and represent Cork in All-Ireland Feile

St Nicks 3-5 Bride Rovers 2-1
Next up the home team St Nicks once more they proved too strong as they scored 3-3 before we even managed a score Patrick 2-0 and Kieran 0-1. Liam Michael and Edmond made some great passes during the game.

Bride Rovers 1-4 Kilshannig 1-1
Last up was Kilshannig Ruairi was doing some great running Cian and Seamus scored a point each Kieran scored 0-2 and Matthew scored 1-0

U14 Hurling
Sars 5-7 Bride Rovers 2-9
We played a challenge game against Sars last Sunday the 29th of March. We had a number of 11 year olds on the team and they were well able for the game. Michael in goal played well with help from Oisin John and Liam. We played with a strong wind in the first half Conor opening the scoring with a point followed by Patrick pointing. Ronan won a free which Kieran pointed. Sars scored 2-2 throughout the first half. Kieran then scored 0-3 while Patrick scored 0-1. Shaun passed to Craig who found the net and he also won a free before half time and Kieran struck it over the bar for the last score of the first half.
The second half saw the backs under a lot of pressure Adam and Luc were making some tackles but Sars proved too strong as they scored 3-5 before we managed to push forward. Edmond and Tomas were working hard as we finished with 2 scores Kieran 0-1 and Patrick1-0
