U14 Football..
Bride Rovers 5-6 Fermoy 6-5..
On Saturday afternoon, the U14s played away to Fermoy in a tense and
closely fought game. Fermoy led the way with an early goal and point,
but Bride Rovers soon drew level with a goal and a point from Katie
Quirke. It was practically score for score for the duration of the
first half, with a goal from Caoimhe Hazelwood and a point each from
Chloe Murphy and Katie. At the half-time whistle, Fermoy led by just
two points. The second half was much like the first, with both teams
working tirelessly and trading scores. With just minutes to go, Bride
Rovers were up a point but a last-minute goal from Fermoy saw them run
out eventual winners. Overall, it was a very good display from the
Rovers and they were unfortunate to yield the late goal.

Senior Ladies Football:Senior Ladies v Eire Óg
On Sunday next the Senior Ladies team travel to Ovens to play Éire Óg
in Round 3 of Division 1 A League. The match is timed for 2.30pm and
all support would be appreciated.
Minor Camogie:
We travelled to Ballynoe on Sunday to play minor camogie against St.
Catherines. This is a thirteen aside competion and on the day both
teams played fourteen aside. Conditions were not ideal for camogie as
there was a very strong breeze to contend with and from the word go
our backs were under presure. St. Catherines were playing with the aid
of the breeze in the first half and we only managed to score a point
in the first half to their three goals and four points. We hoped that
the wind would aid us in the second half but we were up against very
strong opposition. In fairness to the girls they kept going until the
final whistle and held St. Catherine to one goal in the second half to
our one goal and one point.

.U16 Camogie League:
Rockban 3-7 Bride Rovers 3-8
Our U16s won a tight encounter away to Rockban last Monday night by
the narrowest margin. This was the proverbial game of 2 halves as a
gale-force western wind really influenced events. We made good use of
it in the first half and led 3-7 to 0-1 at half-time. The second half
was a different story though, as we struggled to make headway against
the gale. We were grateful for our single score of the second-half, a
point 5 minutes from the end, which proved decisive in securing
victory in the end.
