U16 Camogie...

Monday, October 27th, Rathcormac U16B County Championship Quarter-Final

Bride Rovers 0-2    Cloughduv 0-9

We had a decent run in the U16 championship this year, winning two rounds, but fell at the quarter-final stage to a good Cloughduv side on Bank-Holiday Monday. The visitors had plenty of pace around the middle of the field and enjoyed the lion’s share of possession throughout. Our backs and goalie Sarah O Flynn played very well though and limited Cloughduv’s scoring rate. We only trailed 0-5 to 0-2 at half-time after playing into a strong wind and were confident enough turning around but we were unable to threaten as an attacking force really. Best of luck to Cloughduv in the semi-final.
