Thanks to all our sponsors and supporters who made our major fundraiser a huge success, on Friday night in Curraheen Park when we held our Night at the Dogs & Donkey Derby. This was the biggest Fundraiser the Club has held in many years. With a new Development costing over â¬200,000 just commencing, the success of Friday night's venture was essential. We have been selling tickets from house to house all over the parish and in neighbouring areas over the last few weeks and have got a great response. Fundraising is never easy but with a specific project in mind people understand the need for huge financial input. Our new Development will consist of a fully flood lit astro turf training arena specially designed for maximum benefit for hurling training. This facility we are presently constructing will be of great benefit to all club players especially younger players anxious to hone their hurling skills during the winter/spring period when on-pitch activity is very limited,
