Congratulations to the Cork senior ladies football panel who won a ninth title for the county last Sunday at Croke Park. Grace Kearney, Eleanor Ahern and Jen Barry represented Bride Rovers on the panel and we can all be tremendously proud of them.
 
Minor Ladies Football
 
The draw for the 2014 Minor county championships will be made next Monday night. We are in the B grade this year and the first round will be played during the weekend of 11/12 October.
 
U14 Ladies Football
Our U14s played Fermoy in the East Cork championship on Tuesday, September 30th in Rathcormac. Details in next week’s notes.
 
Minor Camogie
The fixture against Newcestown was not played last weekend and must now be rescheduled.
 
U16 Camogie

Bride Rovers 2-15 Mallow 2-11
Our U16s had a great win in the first round of the county championship last Friday against Mallow and now face Tracton in the next round.
 
Bride Rovers GAA are holding a ‘Night at the Dogs’ on Friday, October 3rd. Please support this fundraiser which is vital for the continued development of the club facilities which we all enjoy.
 
The next ‘First Friday’ clothes collection will be on Friday, October 3rd, 6pm to 6:30pm at Rathcormac Hall. Please note earlier time, for this month only, to avoid a clash with the Night at the Dogs in Curraheen Park.
