Intercounty Ladies Football...
Congratulations to Grace Culloty and her Cork U16 team-mates who are All-Ireland champions after 4-7 to 2-7 win over Dublin at Templemore last Saturday, August 30th. Grace lined out a full-forward in a tight encounter where scores were generally hard to come by but Cork were the better side throughout and deserved to retain their title.
Best of luck to Grace, Jen and Eleanor who hope to qualify for another senior All-Ireland final when they face Armagh in the semi-final at Longford next Saturday. The girls are entitled to be confident as recent form has been very good but Armagh will be respected as tough opponents.
Senior Ladies Football
We continue to prepare for the county Senior B semi-final against Eire Og which has now been fixed for Tuesday, September 9th. The team played a practice match last Tuesday against Clashmore, details of which next week.
Junior Ladies Football
Our junior footballers bowed out of the county 13-a-side championship when we lost out to Erins Own at Pynes last Sunday evening. We enjoyed loads of possession in the game and scored a decent 2-9 in the game but also were guilty of many wides which allowed a gap to grow on the scoreboard. Well done to Erins Own and best of luck to them in the next round where they face St Peters of Rochchapel.
Minor Ladies Football
We play Aghada on Wednesday this week in the East Cork championship semi-final which also decides gradings for the county championship. Details in next weekâs notes.
U16 Ladies Football
No news yet of who we will play in the U16 county quarter final which is scheduled for Saturday, September 13th. We also have an East Cork U16B league final coming up against Aghada.
U10 Ladies Football
Our U10s are heading to the annual Passage West blitz on Saturday, September 13th! This is a huge international event with 76 teams taking part. In many ways, itâs a giant version of our own very successful funday, with DJs, entertainment, BBQ etc etc
U8 Ladies Football
Well done to all our U8s who participated in the FunDay blitz last Sunday morning at Pairc na Bride.

U15 Camogie
Bride Rovers 3-9 Fr OâNeills 4-2
Our U15 panel are in an Imokilly final after an exciting win over Fr OâNeills last Tuesday night in Pynes. The visitors scored some good goals to keep in touch for much of the game to match our first-half points. On the resumption, we enjoyed the better of the exchanges and scored some great goals ourselves to secure the win. No news yet of when the U15 final will be played.
U14 Camogie
Our camogie county semi final is scheduled for Friday, September 5th. Opponents are not known at time of writing. Details in next weekâs report.
