Senior Ladies Football...
Our quarter final of the Senior A County Championship on Tuesday, August 19th did not go well for us as we fell to 6-17 to 2-4 defeat. The girls will be hoping to bounce back to form in the Senior B semi-final where we have been drawn against Eire Og, provisionally set for Tuesday, September 9th. We have a prep game against Fermoy on Tuesday, August 26th. Details next week.

We bounced back to form with a good win at Carrigtwohill last Thursday night. We started a little nervously but got into our stride as the game went on and got some good scores across a good spread of players while defending well at the back.

U16 Ladies Football
Our U16 East Cork league semi-final against Fermoy on Friday, August 22nd in Fermoy, 4pm ended in defeat 4-15 to 1-7. We now play in an East Cork B league final against Aghada and in B county championship.
U14 Ladies Football
A friendly match against Inch Rovers was held on Monday, August 25th at Rathcormac. This was a fantastic match with all players on the panel, young and old, contributing greatly and finished 2-8 to 2-6 to Inch Rovers. We took the opportunity to get as much game time as possible for all players who played really well and the game was notable for some great build-up play, scores and fantastic defending.

U8 Ladies Football
We are holding an U8 blitz in our main pitch next Sunday morning, August 31st. All participants in an U8 blitz will receive a medal.
Junior B Camogie
Carrigaline were unable to field a junior team against us last Sunday night in Carrigaline so we played a useful friendly match against a combination side of their seniors and juniors.
U16 Camogie
Enniskeane were our visitors to Rathcormac on Wednesday, August 20th in a county league playoff match and defeated us 2-8 to 2-3. Our next match at this age group is County Championship against Mallow.
U15 Camogie
We played Fr OâNeills in the semi-final of the U15 Imokilly competition on Tuesday night. Details next week.
Wild Rovers Fun Weekend
in partnership with Rathcormac Community Council, the clubâs âWild Roversâ fun weekend begins on Saturday, the 30th of August from 6.30pm to 9.30pm in the old school grounds, Rathcormac. Many fun games and activities for all age groups are lined up with live music and a barbecue on the night.
Festivities continue on Sunday, April 31st in the main pitch starting at 11am. U6, U8 and U10 boys and girls, camogie and football fun games are organised with many visiting clubs with lots of activities and fun games for young and not so young including more music and a barbecue on the day, Everyone is welcome for a great weekend of fun and games so please come along and support our young players who will be our stars in the future
Next clothes collection is at Rathcormac Hall on Friday, September 5th.
