Senior/Junior Football
Championship and league final preparations continued with a practice match Clashmore, Waterford on Sunday morning, June 22nd at their pitch which we won well. The group spent the rest of the day on a bonding session which was very well received. The Division 1B league final against Boherbue is now fixed for Sunday, June 29th at 5pm at Killavullen.Please note the change of time.
U16 Ladies Football
Our U16s travelled to Celbridge, Co Kildare for a friendly game against the local side on Sunday, June 22nd followed by an outing to Liffey Valley shopping centre. Feedback is that everyone had a great time.
U12 Ladies Football
Our final U12 league fixture against Glanmire is due to be played on Friday, June 27th at Buck Learys Cross. Details next week.
U10 Ladies Football
Well done again to the u10 girls who played a brilliant game against Rockban on Saturday, June 21st. With only 13 girls and no subs they played outstanding until the final whistle. Well done girls, again with every match ye are getting stronger.
Junior Camogie
We participated in a camogie blitz at Castlelyons on Friday, June 20th and enjoyed great success eventually winning the final beating the host team by 2-3 to 0-5.
U16 Camogie
Our final U16 camogie league fixture is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25th against Valley Rovers at Rathcormac.
U14 Camogie
We had a handsome win over visitors Ballinascarthy last Wednesday at Pairc na Bride, continuing our excellent form in the U14 camogie league.
U10 Camogie
U10 girls played their first 3 matches on Sunday, June 15th in Castlelyons. Everyone of the girls played great Camogie. With Suin o Regan, Ava Barry and Abbie o Connell taking turns in goals, Lily Murray, Kate Larkin, Mollie o Connell, Naoise McCarthy and Caoimhe Barry, playing out field. The girls showed great determination on the pitch. Well done girls.
