U10 Hurling...

We travelled to Waterford last week to take part in the Ballyduff tournament. There were three different grades A, B and C. We were graded A so we knew the opposition was going to be really tough. On the Friday night we played games against De La Salle, Mount Sion and Dungarvan winning all 3 games setting us for the Semi Final Saturday morning against St Mary's from Clonmel. This was a really tough game as we just got the better of St Mary's at the end winning by 2 points setting us up for the grand final against Ballygunner from Waterford City. This was truly a fantastic game with the sides level at half time Ballygunner ran out winners at the end by 2 goals. This Bride Rovers U10 boys are a joy to watch and things look very bright for the future.
Well done to the boys who took part fantastic effort. We also took part in an U10 hurling Blitz in Castlelyons winning all our 4 games. Thanks to Castlelyons for a great day out.
