Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps 2014....
With the hope of fine weather Coiste Oiliúna (Cork GAA Coaching and Games Committee) are pleased to announce details of the Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps for 2014 in Cork.

Over 95 camps will be taking place around the county commencing on July 1stand finishing on August 23rd.  In 2013, 9,400 children attended Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps which indicates just how popular the camps are among the youth population between the ages of 6 and 13.

Bride Rovers Cúl Camp runs from July 28th to August 1st, and to book go to www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie or contact Trish O'Flynn 087-9710967.

Speaking at the launch, Cork Coordinator, Noel Crowley outlined the nature of the camps
“Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment, building friendships and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games. Children come to the Kellogg’s GAA Cúl camps to have fun, to enhance their skills and make new friends.”
At the camps they are supervised and coached by teams of highly trained and qualified GAA personnel, who have many years of experience in organising and running GAA Cul Camps.
It is no wonder that the Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps are the most popular summer camps selected annually by Irish parents.

Cork GAA Coaching Officer, Brendan Driscoll commented, “GAA Cúl Camps are in the third year of a very successful sponsorship by Kellogg’s. This sponsorship has already produced beneficial results for both the GAA and Kellogg’s and Cork GAA looks forward to working with Kellogg’s to make the Cúl Camps even more successful this year and in future years. Get Your Name in the Game is a hugely successful promotional concept that has caught the imagination of children the length and breadth of the country, with the result that in 2013, Cúl Camps attendances increased significantly.”

One of the highlights of any camp will be the visit of inter county players. This will be a key feature of the camps again in 2014. Noel Crowley points out “ a number of inter county players are currently being lined up to visit camps for photos, autographs and give some coaching tips to children.”
To register for the camps, simply log on to www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie for details of all the camps around the county.
