Scoil Mhichill Naofa Upper Glanmire 4-1 Scoil BhrÃde Rathcormac 2-2...
When it looked like Scoil BhrÃde might clinch victory, persistence paid off for Scoil Mhichill Naofa as they added the DC4 East title to the football silverware already annexed. They fought back with a brace of goals before the break from Nikki Barry and CaitrÃona Lane handing them a narrow 2-0 to 1-2 lead at the change of ends. Rathcormac had enjoyed a strong start with a goal from Katie Quirke and points from Caoimhe Hazelwood.
However, and despite a second goal from Hazelwood, Scoil Mhichill Naofa grew into the game and they finished with aplomb. A Gaby Cashman goal saw them reclaim the lead, and amid tremendous excitement, Cashman fired home a second for a four point lead. Barry closed out with a well-struck pointed free.
