U14 Hurling Feile
We played in Feile Hurling in Killeaghplaying against Sars, Killeadh Itaâs, Fr OâNeills and St Colemanâs. Our first game against Sars ended in a draw Bride Rovers 0-5 Sars 1-2 after a very tough game. Sars scored a goal from the throw in despite Benâs best effort in goal. Ciaran Eoin and Cian were stopping all attacks as we pushed forward Conleith pointing a free and Brian scoring a point after a great pass from Seamus. In the second half Conleith scored 2 points one from a free and Jordan pointed also while Sars scored 2 points.
Next we played Killeagh Itaâs winning on a
score line of Bride Rovers 0-6 Killeadh Itaâs 1-1. John, Matthew and Patrick
were at their best throughout the day and here held Killeadh Itaâs scoreless
for the first half. Conor passed to Kieran for a point Conleith scored 0-2 and
Craig passed to
We then played Fr OâNeills and won Bride
Rovers 1-2 Fr OâNeills 0-1.
In the last game we played St Colemanâs and
once more emerged victorious Bride Rovers 1-7 St Colemanâs 2-1. Patrick made a
great run out of defence winning a free.
Even though we had the same points as Sars on the day they progressed to the next round. Well done lads on a great performance.
U14 Hurling League Bride Rovers 2-7 Fermoy 1-7
Our first hurling league game was against Fermoy and was a very close game throughout. Ben between the posts was in top form and helped at the back by Patrick, Matthew and John. Fermoy pointed first but Brian responded quickly with a point. Sean and Craig were working well in the forwards. Fermoy then scored 0-2 before Conleith scored 0-1 and Brian 0-1 leaving us level at the break.
The second half started with Peter passing
to Brian for a point and
Bride Rovers 1-12 Iniscarra 3-5
This was another closely contested game
with only a point between us at the end. Iniscarra pointed first with Conleith
opening our score with a point Conor following this with a point also. John won
a free at the back which reached Brian for another point. Iniscarra scored 1-3
while Brian Jodan and Conleith all scored points. Ben, Patrick, Ciaran and
Peter were under pressure at the back and had to be at their best while Kieran,
Seamus and Craig were chasing everything. Conleth scored first in the second
half with a point followed by Shaun with 1-1. Matthew, Cian, John B, Michael
and Oisin were all subs and played their part. Iniscarra scored 2-1 before we
attacked again with points from
U14 Football
Bride Rovers 2-5 Canovee 2-7
We travelled to Carrigadrohid on Friday last to play Canovee in the worst weather conditions possible. We only had 16 players and due to the wind and rain there were a number of players who had to leave the field.

We played Carrig na bhFearr at home last
week and after a very promising first half were outplayed in the second half.
Carrig na bhFearr scored 0-7 throughout the first half while Conleith scored
