U14 Football....
We have already played 2 league games emerging with a win and a defeat. We have also contested the Feile A.
Our first game was against Carrigtwohill
with us recording a win on a score line of Bride Rovers 5-10 Carrigtwohill 3-5.
We were very strong in the first half with our forwards getting some great
passes from Tom Oisin Matthew and Kieran. Our scorers were
Carrigtwohill attacked more in the second half and Michael brought off a number of great saves while Peter, Ruairi and Patrick were helping clear the ball out of defence. We conceded 1-4 throughout the second half but Brian and Luc scored goals while Cian scored another point. Ben Griffin and John also played their part.
Our next game was against Aghabullogue and on this occasion we werenât strong enough the game finished on a score line of Bride Rovers 3-6 Aghabullogue 3-1. We started the first half well with Kieran scoring 1-1 Eoin 1-0 Brian 0-2 and Cian 0-1. Seamus, Tom, John B and Craig were making some great passes to make the scores. Towards the end of the first half our backs were under pressure and Michael had to make a few saves as Aghabullogue scored 1-3.
Brian scored 1-1 and Eoin scored 0-1 during
the second half but Aghabullogue proved to strong scoring 2-7. John OâS kept us
in the game for much of the second half as he brought off a number of saves
while Luc Matthew and Peter were clearing as much as possible. Oisin won a lot
of frees to take the pressure of the defence. Patrick and
We contested Feile A last Saturday in
Mallow taking on teams from Mallow, Midleton and
Next we played Mallow losing on a score
line of Bride Rovers 0-2 Mallow 3-1. John was playing well between the posts
while Peter Matthew and Ben had to be at their best as mallow attacked and
scored 1-0 during the first half we managed a point from Conor. Michael and
Last up was Midleton once more we lost out on a score line of Bride Rovers 4-2 Midleton 5-5. Midleton were very strong in the first half scoring 2-3 to no score but we played better in the second half with Cian playing well at full forward Eoin scored 2-2 and Brian scored 2-0 while Midleton scored 3-2.

U16 Football
We have contested 2 games in the league and both teams have proved too strong. We played St Vincents first and lost and only last Sunday played Glenville and also lost this game.
U10 Football
Our U10 footballers contested a blitz in Fermoy last Saturday playing Clyda Rovers, Glanworth and St Catherine. All boys played well and enjoyed the day.
