Ladies Club Report - 2014-02-25 16:29:00

U16 and U14 East Cork football league fixtures have been hit badly over the past few weeks because of the unavailability of pitches due to the bad weather. We will have to play these games during March and April when the weather improves but this will lead to some fixture congestion and matches and training will have to be carefully planned.

U16 Football

We played a useful challenge match against Carrigaline in Pynes last Saturday because Erins Own could not field a team to fulfil the scheduled East Cork fixture. Conditions were very heavy underfoot and many of our players tired as the game went on. Nevertheless, outings such as this will help improve fitness levels to the standard required.

U14 Football

Our U14s are scheduled to play East Cork league next weekend but that probably depends on the weather.

‘First Friday’ Clothes Collection

Our clothes collection is coming up again shortly, on Friday Match 7th at Rathcormac Community Hall, 7pm to 7:30pm. All contributions are greatly appreciated.

Registration

All club members are reminded that registration must be paid at this time. Subscriptions can be given in a signed envelope to any officer or mentor of the club and can be paid in instalments if that is more convenient. The club will also be holding a registration night at the club-house on Friday, March 7th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
