Lotto now at €10,000....

 Club Lotto :

Last week’s draw took place for a jackpot of €9,800 there was no winner....The five lucky dips were Declan Heskin  Ballinagore, Ava, Cathal & Cormac Barry Rathcormac, Margaret Cleary c/o Layla,  John O Connor Ballyreidy,& Denis Barry Bartlemy

Tickets for the Lotto are just €2 each and can be purchased from members, in local businesses or online at locallotto.ie see www.briderovers.ie

The Lotto is vital for generating finances for the Club and your ongoing support is greatly appreciated. New Ticket Sellers are always being sought. If you can sell even half a book of tickets weekly it would be mighty. Please contact any member of the Club executive.

 Car Boot Sale this Sunday:

The next car Boot Sale for the Parish Development Fund is on this Sunday December the 8th. Items for the Parish Stall are being accepted on Sat December the 7th at 10.30. Any Club Member or supporter that can give an hour or two on the Sat or Sunday would be greatly appreciated.

 Astro-Turf available to Hire:

 The Astro-turf pitch at Bride Rovers is available for hire by contacting James Bermingham on 086 8350741. Pitch is suitable for 5 a side teams and costs €50 per hour with lights. A reminder to all those who have pre-booked the facility, if for some reason your group cannot take up their allocated time slot please let Club Officers know immediately.

 Executive Meeting:

The first meeting of the new executive took place at Arus de Barra club rooms on Monday night, Chairman Billy Finnegan presided and with a near full attendance, a number of items were on the agenda, these included some ground works on Pairc na Bride, facilities for 2014, sub committees appointed, lotto and fundraising initiative’s for the coming season.

 Conventions:

The Cork GAA Board Annual Convention will be held on Saturday December the 14th in Pairc Ui Chaoimh, with Mass at 6pm followed by the main Convention business at 7pm. The Draws for the 2014 Championships will be the highlight as well an update on the Pairc Ui Chaoimh redevelopment. Planning permission has been sought recently for this major project and hopefully it will commence next year.

The Imokilly divisional convention takes place on Wed Dec 11th in Carraig na bhFear, 8.00pm

 Cork GAA Yearbook :

The Cork GAA Yearbook will be on sale very soon from all GAA clubs and a number of other outlets, priced at just €8. It's packed full of interviews, news and reviews but will have a limited print run so order yours now from club Secretary William O Leary .The ideal stocking filler!

 The GAA Season Ticket :

 Cork Hurlers ‘Night at the Dogs’ :

On this Friday night December 6th the Cork Senior Hurlers are having a 'Night at the Dogs' in Curaheen Park, Cork for their Training and Holiday Fund. There are special price tickets on sale including Family Tickets which cost €20 for 2 adults and 2 children - more children won’t be turned away! There will be a special draw on the door tickets.
