Congratulations from Bride Rovers to the Cork Senior Ladies Footballers who won their eighth All-Ireland title in nine years last Sunday. This was an exceptional achievement by a very talented and dedicated bunch of players, who include our own Grace, Eleanor and Jen and whom we are very proud of.

East Cork Minor Ladies Football Semi-Final
Thursday, September 26, Rathcormac
Bride Rovers 1-11 Glanmire 3-4
We won through to an East Cork final against Fermoy by beating Glanmire in a tight encounter in Rathcormac last Thursday night. Our scoring rate was down on previous matches against a well-organised Glanmire defensive unit but a goal from Meg Kelliher just after half-time was decisive and we managed to kick enough points in the second half to secure a win by the narrowest margin.
