Best of luck to the Cork senior ladies footballers, including our own Grace Kearney, Eleanor Ahern and Jen Barry, in the All-Ireland semi-final versus Kerry in Birr on Saturday, September 7.
Best wishes also to Brian Murphy and the Cork senior hurling team in the All-Ireland final versus Clare.

Midleton 3-3 Bride Rovers 1-14
We completed the group stages of the minor league with a win over Midleton, making it 4 wins out of 5. Well done to all the players on the panel. The next stage is a league semi-final and county championship action.
U14 Football
Our East Cork championship meeting with Rockban last Friday was postponed at the last minute. This semi-final will be rescheduled shortly and the panel continues to prepare for that.

East Cork U12 League Semi-Final
Erins Own 1-7 Bride Rovers 1-3
Our U12s lost out in a tight match at Caherlag last Monday night in the East Cork league semi-final. Erins Own enjoyed the greater possession for much of the match but our backs and goalkeeper Anna Murray were excellent in repelling the opposition attacks. Trailing by a goal entering the final stages, we finished very strongly and could have had 2-2 in the closing minutes with a bit more luck. It was still a good performance and we now look forward to a B league final and a county championship match against Dromtarriffe.
Junior Camogie
Our junior camogie team had a fine win over Courcey Rovers in a rescheduled county championship match on Thursday night. Unfortunately, at time of writing, it does not look like it will be enough for us to progress to the next round of the championship. Thanks to Tom Mulcahy and all the players on the panel for their efforts.
U15 Camogie
Bride Rovers 4-6 Aghada 1-1
We concluded our U15 summer league campaign with a fourth straight win at Pairc na Bride last Tuesday, August 27.
Scorers : Grace Culloty 1-3, Laura Quirke 2-3, Siobhan O Sullivan 1-0.
U14 Camogie
County U14 League Semi-Final
Bride Rovers 7-6 Ballinascarthy 2-3
We have a county league final to look forward to after our U14s had an impressive win over Ballinascarthy in Riverstick last Sunday afternoon. We started well but left our opponents come back into the game before half-time. A much improved second half performance was forthcoming however and we ran out convincing winners in the end. Well done to all the panel and their manager Oliver.
