Bride Rovers 6-11 Kilta Og 3-8

Kilta Og were quick off the mark with a goal in the first minute however this only made us more determined as the ball was delivered to Brian and he hit the net. This was followed quickly by Kieran scoring a point Brian getting the next point and Conleth scoring a free he won himself. Ciaran and Conor were making some great passes finding Brian for another point. Sean was chasing everything sending the ball across the square for Seamus to goal. Kilta Og scored 0-2 before half time but some great play at midfield between Kieran and Jordan resulted in Jordan scoring 2-1 and Brian scoring another goal. Patrick cleared a great ball out of defence finding Conleth who also pointed.
The expression a game of two halves was true in this game as Kilta Og came out in the second half and scored 1-3 before we settled. This would have been more but Ben in goal brought off numerous saves and Matthew John and Griffin were busy clearing the ball. Cian at half back sent a ball for ward to Kieran who scored a point to try and settle the game. However once more Kilta Og attacked scoring an additional 1-3. But we proved stronger with Seamus and Eoin scoring points and Patrick catching some great ball at half back finding Cian who also pointed. Eoin sent a high ball into the square and sub Tom got a touch for a goal. Peter and Craig were unlucky not to score when they were introduced. Other subs were Ruairi, Ciaran, Michael and Oisin. Jordan finished the game with a point and all were delighted. A fantastic team performance from all.
