Bantry 4-10 Bride Rovers 1-3
We travelled down to Clondrohid on Tuesday night, and played in what can only be described as horrendous conditions, with the rain pelting down on an already waterlogged pitch. Unfortunately, we were missing a couple of players due to injury & other commitments to begin with & came up against a very strong team in Bantry B. The girls to their credit worked tirelessly, and certainly can't be faulted for effort. Erin O'Keeffe & Lauren Friel being two leading examples of this on the night. It was a bit of disappointing end to an otherwise very good league campaign. But we still have championship to come & we will learn from this league experience.
Team: Carol Noonan, Cynthia Buckley, Erin O'Keeffe, Finola Hogan, Trish O'Sullivan, Lauren Friel, Karen Sheehan, Marieke Bardoul, Katie Connor, Laura O'Keeffe, Imelda Dorgan (0-1), Sarah Barry (0-1), Sinead O'Driscoll (0-1).
Subs: Ãine Cashman & Elaine Culloty (1-0).

Aghada 7-14 Bride Rovers 5-9
Our U14 league campaign concluded for 2013 when we were defeated by 11 points in Rostellan on Monday night. We trailed by the same margin at half-time but some positional switches worked very well and we acquitted ourselves very well in the second half, closing the gap to 5 points at one stage. Well done to all the girls who really tried their hardest. Activities will continue for the U14 group with summer competition planned and we also have the East Cork championship to look forward to in the Autumn.

Bride Rovers 1-4 Buttevant 2-1
Our U16s played out an entertaining draw at home to Buttevant last Sunday. Emma Barry's accuracy from frees and a well-taken goal from Shauna O'Connell gave us a half-time lead but Buttevant struck for a goal themselves in the second half and we needed a late point from Laura Quirke to earn a share of the points.
