U14 Hurling
Bride Rovers 2-3 Mayfield 2-3
The U14 hurling league continued as we played Mayfield away. Kieran was fouled in the opening few minutes and Christopher scored a point from the free. This was our only score of this half as our defence was under constant pressure Ben bringing off a number of saves while John and Shane were defending well. Brian Ciaran and Griffin were working hard trying to get the ball out of the back line. Mark Shaun and Tom were chasing any ball coming forward. Mayfield scored 1-3 before half time.
We played better in the second half Joe came on at the back and played well. Eoin and Conor were making some great runs forward Jordan opening the score with a point, this was followed by Peter scoring a goal. Cian was introduced and scored 1-1 throughout the second half. U14 Football
Bride Rovers 7-3 Lisgould 1-2
We were strong from the start with Shane scoring 3-1 Eoin 1-0 throughout the first half. Ben brought off a couple of saves and John Griffin and Matthew were strong in defence. Shaun and Brian were playing well in the forward line. Lisgould scored 0-1 before half time.
Peter was introduced and played well. Lisgould scored 1-1 at the start of the second half before we settled again with Ciaran Conleth Jordan and Kieran sending the ball to the forwards. Mark Cian and Conor all scored goals. Luc passes to Cian for a point and Christopher finished our scoring with a point.
