U13 Football Championship....

Bride Rovers 3-1 Blarney 1-10

We travelled to Blarney for this replay as we had drawn on our first meeting and Blarney proved the stronger team on the night. We opened the scoring with Brian passing to Conor for a point, however despite the best efforts of Ben, John Eoin and Matthew Blarney scored 1-3 before we pushed forward again Conor scoring a goal. The next attack saw Conleths shot being saved but Tom was quick to react scoring goal. Ciaran Griffin and Patrick were sending the ball forward while Peter and Shaun were chasing everything.
Blarney attacked constantly in the second half while we found the going tough. Jordan did an amount of running at midfield while Cian got a goal our only score in the second half. Ciaran and Ruairi were both introduced and played well. Blarney were stronger throughout the second half scoring 5 points.

U10 Football

The U10 continued their winning ways as we played 2 football league games. We first played Carraig na bhfear at home and won on a score line of Bride Rovers 7-6 Carraig na bhfearr 6-1. We then played Carrigtwohill away and won this on a score line of Bride Rovers 6-5 Carrigtwohill 2-4. Well done lads keep it up.

U16 Hurling League

Bride Rovers 5-8 Balllinora 0-9

This game was played in Ballinora and our lads put on a great performance to emerge winners. Ciaran passed to Jessie for a goal and DJ won 2 frees which Dean pointed. Jessie pointed. Colm Jack and Shane O'C were sending the ball to the forwards. Jordan scored 2 goals and Jack O'M scored a goal. Dylan Ryan Leon and Tadgh were defending well as Ballinora scored 6 points in the first half.
Jake made some quality passes throughout the game as Shane W scored our next point and Dean pointed twice. Nathan, Jack F, Shane and Mark were all introduced and played well. Ballinora scored 3 points but DJ finished strong scoring 1-2 before the final whistle.

U14 Football

We continued the U14 football league when we played Ballinhassig away last week. From the start they were stronger and ran our convincing winners on the night Ballinhassig 7-8 Bride Rovers 1-4. They were at lot stronger than us physically and this showed on the score line. Ballinhassig scored 1-2 before Conor and Griffin linked up with Mark for a goal. Ben John Shane and Matthew were under constant pressure at the back as Ballinhassig scored 1-0. After a lot of hard work from Ciaran, Jordan and Peter we sent the ball forward. Christopher linked up with Conor for a point and Brian scoring 0-2. Ballinhassig scored 4-1 before the half time whistle.
Eoin sent a lot of ball forward in the second half Cian was chasing everything as Shaun scored a point. Luc was introduced and played well. Ballinhassig scored 3 points in the second half.
