From Pairc Na Bhride to Pairc An Chrócaigh. It happened to our under 12 boys on April 2nd. It will be a day they will never forget. We set off at 7.30 with our 21 players and supporters from Rathcormac and Bartlemy arriving in Dublin around 11 with a lot of excited boys. Our first match was at 12 against Portlaw of Waterford. Our boys showed no nerves whatsoever and won on a score line of 2-6 to 0-1, second game against Croom from Limerick where again the boys put in a wonderful performance winning 3-8 to 0-1. Next game was Kilsheelan of Tipp again the boys showed their class in winning 3-3 to 2-1. There were many proud parents in the Cusack stand watching and so they should be. Who knows this might not be the last time they will play here. After a bite to eat we did the musem and stadium tour. It was fab to see the boys listen and learn so much, after they played in the games area testing their skills. The big kids also tried but no stories Barry but it's hard to catch the city boys. Any way after a great day in headquarters we hit the road. We stopped for a bite to eat on the way home. It was a really good day. If the boys keep it up hopefully another dream will come true and they will play as a team once again there on Patricks Day. I would like to thank all the boys who behaved so well they are a credit to their families and club. Thanks to all parents also A truly fabulous day had by all.
