Co. Minor Hurling league.
It was a very quiet weekend on the playing fields with just our Minor hurlers in competitive action in the Rebel Og League. We travelled to Lisgoold on Sunday morning to meet the home side. Over the last five years there has been very little between us at u 14 and u 16 level so an even game was to be expected. On a cold wintry morning however that's not what unfolded. Right from the start our lads were well on top and ran out very easy winners on a scoreline of ; Bride Rovers 3-13 Lisgoold 0-0
On the day Lisgoold were short some of their best players so we shouldn't read too much into this result.
Team; S O' Connor, P Noonan, T O' Sullivan, J Buckley, S Walsh
R Prendergast, C O' Connor, W Finnegan, D Lenihan, S Cotter, D Moore, C. Power
SUBS USED; Cian Howard, Colm Howard, Jack O' Connor.
Our attention at Minor level reverts to football this weekend. On Friday evening
April 5th we are at home to Cobh in the County Minor Football League at 6.30pm. All players are asked to be at the pitch at 6 o clock. This is a 'top of the table' clash between the two unbeaten teams in this Section of the League.
