U14 Football...

We contested 2 games in the last week travelling to Ballynoe last Wednesday night to play St Catherines in a challenge match. This game was played in torrential rain and we emerged winners on the night after a tightly contested match. We then went on to play our second league game against Aghada which we played on Sunday morning. There was a gale force wind and we lost to toss so we had to play against the wind in the first half. We failed to score throughout the first half while Aghada scored 1-7. We played better with the wind in the second half scoring 1-4 however Aghada were the stronger team winning on the day scoring an additional 1-4 in the second half.
