In a poll of just over 500 people conducted on the Cork GAA website on the best County Senior Hurling finals of the decade, Bride Rovers v Sarsfields in the epic final of 2008 was voted number 1.
While it ended in a one-point defeat it was marvellous occasion for those in the 13,000 strong attendance to witness one of the great finals of recent times.
Carrigtwohill v CIT in the 2011 final was voted into second place.
