Our ladies Junior Football team went down to a  4-10 to 0-3 defeat to St Comans in the in the Tesco Homegrown 13 a Side B County Championship Final in Lisgoold on Sunday

St Colmans dominated the game throughout and were it not for some fine saves from Rovers keeper Irene Hogan the game would have been decided by half time however Bride Rovers defended stoutly and held the score to 2-4 to 0-2 at half time.

With a strong wind at their backs the Colmans girls went on to dominate the second half exchanges running out worthy winners on a score or 4-10 to 0-3
