Congrats to James Bermingham our own club Chairman who refereed the County Premier Intermediate Football Final between St Michaels and St Vincents at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
James was officiating his second Premier Intermediate Final in a row. One of Cork's most promising young referees, James made his refereeing début in 2003 at U12 level in East Cork, and has worked his way up the ranks since, refereeing the Munster Minor Football Championship this year. He cites East Cork referees Cathal McAllister and Niall Barrett as major influences on his career, as well as Tom Fitzgibbon RIP, former chairman of the East Cork Referees' Committee.
