Our U8 girls took part in the Blitz organised by East Cork Board in Fermoy last Saturday morning. We had 17 girls which was a great turnout on a very cold morning. We played Youghal, Erins Own, Glanmire and Fermoy. All the girls enjoyed themselves and it was great to see our own Grace Kearney there to watch on. Grace presented the medals to Bride Rovers afterwards and hopefully some of these young players will play for Cork someday like Grace. Thanks to all the girls and parents who turned out on the day. Thanks to Fermoy ladies football GAA for hosting the event which we all enjoyed. We would like to thank Terry Broderick and everyone who helped out training the girls over the last few months.
