Bride Rovers 1-11 Courcey Rovers 3-7
We made the journey for Ballinspittle for the U12 final on Saturday the 29th. Courcey were quick off the mark scoring 1-1 before we even got on the score board Brian finding Cian for our opening point. Conor Jordan and Beineon were playing well in the forwards. Ben brought off a number of vital saves which John and Griffin helped clear while Eoin won 2 frees which Cian pointed. Courcey scored 1-4 before half time while Eoin and Conleth both pointed and Cian added another to his tally.
Ciaran and Kieran were both introduced and their speed was vital. We were the stronger team in the second half with Cian scoring 1-3 also Eoin and Patrick scoring a point each. Other subs were Tom Ruairi Michael and Craig. However Coursey had the lead from the first half and scored an additional 1-2 in the second half running out winners by only 2 points. Missing through injury was Shaun and we wish him a speedy recovery.
