On Saturday last the annual Jerard Kenny blitz was held. Six teams attended Blackrock, Sars, Midleton, Ballygarvan, Sliabh Rua and Bride Rovers. All seven games were closely contested with Blackrock winning group one and Sars winning group two. In the final Blackrock won out. A great day was had with over 90 boys showing great skills and were a credit to their clubs. Thanks to the two refs on the day Pa O'Driscoll and Mark Murphy who made sure games were played in good spirit. Thanks also to the parents of our under 11 team who provided the refreshments on the day. It was great to see the Kenny family present on the day. Finally thanks to our under 11 boys who played brilliant hurling on the day to show we can compete with the big clubs.

U12 Football

Bride Rovers 6-10 Aghabullogue 3-11
We played the Semi Final of the league against Aghabullogue last Sunday morning and emerged winners after a very high scoring game. We attacked throughout the first half with all forwards scoring or making the pass to create a score. Jordan and Ciaran were sending great ball to the forwards. Conleth scored 1-1 Conor 1-0 Griffin 0-1 Brian 1-2 and Cian 2-3 Beneoin setting up one of these goals with a well measured pass while Aghabullogue scored 2-3.
Aghabullogue pushed forward in the second half Ben in goal once again showing his talent bringing off a number of great saves with John and Eoin reliable as ever. Patrick Peter Ruairi and Tom were all introduced and played well. Aghabullogue scored 1-8 throughout the second half while Conor scored 0-1 Conleth 0-1 and Griffin 0-1
