Senior Hurling Championship: Quarter-Finals Weekend!

Nothing beats being there...

With Ballymartle safely through to the County Semi-Finals, the remaining three Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Finals take place this weekend, and what a selection of games we have on offer!

On Saturday, there is an unmissable double-header at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with Midleton meeting Bishopstown at 3.45pm, while at 5.30pm, it's an East Cork derby as defending champions Carrigtwohill take on 2010 winners, Sars.

It's a second meeting of the season for Midleton and Bishopstown, as they also met in the first round, when Midleton just edged it on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-13. Can Bishopstown turn the tables in the quarter-final? Ballymartle await the winners.

Top quality hurling is guaranteed, with a host of inter-county stars on display in both games, including Conor Lehane, Luke O'Farrell, Pa Cronin, Shane O'Neill, Niall McCarthy and Conor O'Sullivan.

Admission for this fantastic afternoon of entertainment is just €12 for adults, with usual concessions, and U16 entry is FREE - bring the kids along to share the experience!

And it doesn't end there - the last quarter-final, on Sunday at 6pm in Páirc Uí Rinn, sees the champions of 2006 and 2007, Erin's Own, seek a return to glory against last year's beaten finalists, CIT, who have powered through the Championship so far this year, driven by Cork's All-Star footballer, Aidan Walsh, along with his club-mate and Rebel hurler, Lorcán McLoughlin.
Whatever your plans for this weekend, make sure they include at least one of these mouth-watering County Senior Hurling Quarter-Finals - Nothing beats being there!!
