Bride Rovers 3-8 Lisgould 2-8

A game of two halves is the best way to describe this game. We were extremely slow to start and only managed to score twice in the first half. Jordan sending a long ball into the forwards Shaun making a great catch and scoring a goal and Conor scoring a point. Griffin John, Joe and Patrick were kept very busy as all the pressure was on the back line in this half as Lisgould did most of their scoring in to first half 2-7 scored throughout the half.
Shane and Ben traded places in goal during the second half and both played well. We came out a new team in the this half pushing forward at every opportunity with scored coming from Cian 0-2, Conor 0-1, Shaun 1-2, Conleth 1-0 Brian 0-1 and Eoin 0-1. Ciaran, Beineon, Christopher and Peter also played their part. Lisgould only managed a point throughout the second half.

U14 Hurling

Bride Rovers 3-5 Youghal 3-9
We travelled to Youghal on Friday the 31st with 14 players and played well however Youghal proved to strong on this occasion. We led by a goal at half time thanks to a number of saves from Shane and also some great attacking from our forwards resulting in DJ scoring 2-0, Conor 1-0, and Jessie 0-3. Brian Eoin and Christopher were chasing everything in the forwards while Jack, Tadgh were trying to defend. Youghal scored 2-3 before the interval.
Youghal continued scoring throughout the second half and despite the best efforts of John, Jordan M and Jordan S they scored 1-6 to our 2 points one each for Griffin and Jessie.

U12 Hurling

Bride Rovers 0-9 Freshford 2-4
We made the journey to Clonea Power in Waterford last Sunday to play in the quarter final of the Tommy Finn U12 tournament and were beaten by the narrowest of margins. Despite Ben's best efforts between the posts Freshford scored 1-1 during the first half. Patrick and Jordan were solid at the back while Cian was helping in the forward line. We attacked with points from Eoin, Shaun and Conor leaving us trailing by a point at half time.
Fergus and Ciaran were introduced and played well while Michael also made the trip. We continued scoring in the second half with points from Conleth, Brian, John, Griffin, Eoin 0-2. However Freshford managed 1-3 leaving us trailing by a point as the final whistle went. Freshford went on to win out the tournament. Well done lads and thanks to the parent for travelling.
