We travelled to Clonea Power in Waterford to play in their annual Tommy Finn tournament last Saturday the 4th. We played Ballyduff Upper in the first game and came away with a win scoring 2-8 to their 1-1. Ben in goal brought off some great saves while his brother Cian was on hand to help with clearances. Scorers as follows Conor 0-2 Brian 1-2 Eoin 0-1 Conleth 1-1 Shaun 0-2
We then played Cahir and this proved to be a tough contest which we lost on a score line of 3-2 to 1-4. Conor was first to score 0-1 then Brian 0-1 Patrick sent a great pass to Conor for a goal however Cahir attacked and proved too strong scoring 3-2 while we managed points from Conor and Conleth.
Last game was Four Mile Water which we won 5-3 to 4-0. Ciaran Fergus Peter and Matthew all started this game and played well throughout. With scores as follows Michael 2-0 Conor 0-1 Griffin 1-1 Beineon 1-0 John 1-1
This means we are through to the quarter finals and we are still waiting to find out on what date they will be on. Thanks to all parents for travelling
