Fun Day

We are having a family fun day this Sunday the 17th starting at 11 o'clock. There will be plenty of entertainment for all ages. So come along and support the club

Summer Camp

This year the Kelloggs Cul Camp will run from the 23rd to the 27th of July. Application forms are with your trainers so anyone interested should contact you trainer or Trish on 087-9710967 (after 5pm)

U12 Football

Bride Rovers 3-4 Passage 2-6

We emerged winners after a late goal in this game contested last Saturday at home. We attacked from the start with Beineon scoring a point and Conleth a goal. Passage pushed forward scoring a point before John scored a point. Patrick and Jordan were doing some great defending reading the game well. Shaun was chasing everything in the forwards. Ben in goal brought off some great saves again and cleared the ball. Passage scored 1-2 while in our forwards Conleth passed to Beineon who scored a goal, John passed to Conor who scored a point and Jordan's clearance found Peter who sent a pass to John for another point.
Passage came out the stronger team in the second half scoring 1-3 with no reply. Michael was playing well. Ciaran and Griffin were making some great runs forward but we were finding scores hard to come by until Conleth sent a high ball into the square and luckily Cian punched it to the net.

U14 Hurling Championship

Bride Rovers 1-11 Kilta Og 3-9

Kilta Og were the stronger team in the first half scoring 3-5 despite the best efforts of Shane O'F in goal. Adam Jack and Brian were sending the ball forward at every opportunity. Shane O'C passes to DJ for our opening score and Jessie pointed 3 frees won by DJ, Griffin and Conleth. Eoin was chasing everything in the forwards.
We played better in the second half Shane O'F keeping a clean sheet making some point blank saving a penalty. John Tadgh and Jordan M were solid keeping the Kilta Og attack out. Christopher Conor and Mark were all introduced and played well. Jordan S scored a point and DJ pointed 3 frees. Conor passed to Leon who rattled the net and we finished with Jessie and Jack both scoring points. It wasn't enough on the day as Kilta Og scored 3 points in the second half and ran out winners on the day.

U13 Hurling

Bride Rovers 7-8 Ballygarvan 5-5

Ballygarvan were first to score with a goal this was there only score in the first half as we dominated. Ben in goal played well but his back line Christopher, John and Patrick didn't leave much ball through to him. Eoin passed to Shane his shot was stopped but Conor was quick to react for a point. Adam and Jordan were sending great ball to the forwards. Conleth pointed the next from a free. Shane won the puck out once more his shot saved but Shaun was on hand to score a goal. Griffin sent the next ball in and this time Shane rattled the net this was followed by a high ball in from Conor which Shaun caught and also sent to the net. Shane scored his second goal then Conleth added to his tally scoring 2 goals. This was followed by points from Eoin, Beineon, Ciaran and Brian. Joe Cian Richard and Peter were all introduced and played their part.
Ballygarvan attacked from the start of the second half and scored 3-3 with no reply until a pass from Cian found Peter who scored a goal. Ballygarvan scored 1-2 before the game finished while we managed a point from Conleth.

U11 Hurling

Bride Rovers 9-11 Watergrasshill 2-01
Last Tuesday night we played our neighbours in the Rebel Og east Under 11 hurling league. Our boys started very well in the first half goals from Shaun 3 one each for Patrick and Cian. The backs were defending very well Michael was excellent in goal. Points from Craig 2 and Cian put us well ahead at half time. In the second half Matthew set up a lot of attacks while Seamus was outstanding at half back. Further goals from Patrick 2 Shaun 1 and Cian 1 this was followed by points from Craig 3 Patrick 2 Cian 2 and Shaun 1. The boys were well on top all over the field. Its three out of three wins for the lads.
