U14B County Championship Quarter Final
Carrigaline 3-6 Bride Rovers 3-8
Bride Rovers U14s bounced back in a big way from recent defeats when overcoming the first hurdle in the county championship. This was a very exciting match between two evenly-matched sides and went down to the wire. Early nerves resulted in a few chances being missed but we settled down and led by one point at half-time, helped by a Michelle Lane goal. Grace Culloty was stationed in mid-field on this occasion and put in a very hard-working display throughout, which was needed against some talented opposing players. Laura Quirke, returning from injury, struck top form in the second half scoring 2-3 in that period to push us over the line. In truth though, this was a real result for the whole team, from Madison Parle in goals (very unfortunate not to stop a well-struck penalty) to Shauna O'Connell at corner forward (who worked tirelessly throughout). We now look forward to a semi-final against Dromtarriffe, probably on Friday, June 1st.

Our U14s had a good win over neighbours St Catherines in Ballynoe on Tuesday, May 22nd. The benefit of all the training and recent matches is paying off and the girls put in a good performance all round.
U12 Ladies Football
U12 f/ball league
Bride Rovers 2-3 Glanmire 4-9.
Our U12s suffered a rare defeat against a very strong Glanmire side on Wednesday, May 23rd. We tired in the second half and didn't produce our normal form as a result. Let's hope for better fortune in the next game!
