Bride Rovers 0-11 Newtownshandrum 2-16

Bride Rovers travelled to Newtownshandrum last Saturday for their 7th game in the RedFM sponsored Senior Hurling League.
The sides swapped scores in the opening minutes before Newtown scored the first of their goals following a defensive error.
Further points from Newtown before a second goal had them in front at the interval 2-11 to 0-5.
The Rovers upped their performance in the second half and created a lot more opportunities. The final score finished 2-16 to 0-11 with Barry Johnson scoring all 11 points, 9 of which were from frees.
