And just like that, we're down to the final two.  Pat Ryan's Cork will meet Brian Lohan's Clare in the 2024 edition of the All-Ireland SHC final. Having overcome the challenges of Limerick and Kilkenny, respectively, the Munster rivals have now turned their attention to one last assignment on the journey to walking up the steps of the Hogan Stand. Cork are aiming to bridge the gap to their last win in 2005, while Clare can look back to 2013 when they beat the Rebels.

Here's all you need to know ahead of the All-Ireland hurling final.

Where can I watch Cork v Clare?

The game will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ player with the build-up coverage likely beginning at 2.30pm.

Where can I get a ticket?

We've heard many former players/managers from the participating counties tell of the number of phone calls they received within moments of the final whistle blowing in the respective semi-finals.

Even with the news of the GAA putting up the ticket prices for their showpiece event (€100 for stand tickets and €55 for terrace tickets), the fixture will undoubtedly sell out. The tickets have not gone on sale through the usual outlets, as was the case for the earlier rounds. Instead, they have been distributed to all county boards, with Cork and Clare getting the most significant allocation. An earlier GAA statement on the allocation read: “Tickets for the GAA football and hurling All-Ireland finals will not be available for public sale through the usual outlets.

“Each county board receives an allocation of tickets for the All-Ireland finals with the competing counties receiving the most significant allocations. These are then filtered down to their clubs and subsequently the club members.

Who's likely to win?

The head-to-head between the two counties reads as such: Played: 61. Cork wins: 39. Clare wins: 17. Draws: 5.

Lohan's Clare were the victors over Ryan's Cork in this year's Munster SHC round robin but having come through a number of stiff challenges along their route to the decider, Cork will be slight favourites to lift the Liam MacCarthy Cup.  The sides last met in an All-Ireland final back in 2013, with Clare eventually getting the better of Cork after a replay. Shane O'Donnell - who will be a key figure this time around - scored a hat-trick on that day 11 years ago. John Conlon and Tony Kelly also represented the Banner, while Patrick Horgan, Seamus Harnedy and Conor Lehane were part of the Rebel side in 2013.

Referee

Limerick's Johnny Murphy will be the man in the middle on Sunday.
