U14 Football and Camogie
Bride Rovers u14 girls recently contested county finals in football vs St Vals and against Charleville in the camogie final. Coming off the back of some fantastic results in both codes, the confidence was high. First up was the football county against a very tough opposition in St Vals who got off to a good start and though the girls fought hard, St Vals ran out winners in the end.
With the camogie fixed for the following week there was no time to dwell. The girls were back on the training ground the next evening. Again hopes were high of coming away with a victory but it was Charleville full-forward who found the net on a few occasions that made the difference on the day with Charleville lifting the trophy in the end.
We want to thank Cork Lazer Services for their kind sponsorship of tops for the girls before both county finals. Bride Rovers would also like to thank both Mourneabbey and Shanballymore for the use of their pitches for both finals. U12 Camogie
