Our Bride Rovers u14 girls (pictured) braved the wind and rain at training Monday evening in preparation for their final round game v's Barryroe next Sunday September 11th at 3.00 in Pairc na Brìde.Our u14 team are also in action next Saturday in the quarter final of the football county at 12.30, also in Pairc na Brìde. Best of luck girls.
Minor Football Our minor team played at home to Glanmire on Thursday 1st September. Unfortunately, the visitors proved far too strong and won by a comprehensive margin despite the best efforts of our ladies.
Senior Football On Sunday afternoon, our senior ladies lined out at home in Round 3 of the championship against St. Vals. This was a tough and close encounter for much of the game with very little separating the teams at half time, Bride Rovers 1 08, St. Val 2 03. The visitors edged ahead by two points with an early goal but Rovers countered with a goal followed by some well worked scores to run out eventual winners on a scoreline of 4 12 to 3 08. Their next game will be in two weeks time away to Clonakilty
