Sample message from a player:
Hi, I have a personal favour to ask. I am playing on the Bride Rovers team and the club are currently acquiring 13 acres of land to develop facilities for our ever growing playing membership, and we are looking to offset our level of borrowing from the start. This new development will have 3 new pitches, dressings rooms, lights and a walkway. The ask is a small one of just €10 contribution to the online lotto (1 line for 5 draws so €2 a week). The link is here https://bit.ly/BrideRoversLotto The jackpot for this Tuesday’s draw is €19,200 with additional lucky dip prizes each week for everyone entered into the draw if the jackpot is not won. We will have extra spot prizes each week across for March. There is obviously no obligation to contribute but all help is greatly appreciated. As a player, I am trying to support the club in getting all this in place but also for the younger kids coming up. Thanks and I hope you get a cheque from us soon!!
Sample message from a mentor:
Hi, I need a personal favour if you don’t mind. As a Bride Rovers mentor, we are tasked with helping the club with fundraising initiatives – one of which is raising funds through our weekly online lotto. The club is acquiring 13 acres of land in Rathcormac to cater for the ever increasing juvenile membership as well as increased participation at adult levels. This new development will have 3 new pitches, dressings rooms, lights and a walkway. As I'm coaching this year, I really want to help the club in this. It would go a huge way if you could buy a line for 5 draws which is only a tenner in total but just €2 a week in reality. The link is here https://bit.ly/BrideRoversLotto. The lotto is €19,200 on Tuesday night so it’s a big pot. Also if the lotto jackpot is not won on any week, it increases by €200 for the following draw and the club does 5 x €30 lucky dips each week as well as a special mystery prize. No pressure at all but if you could help out by buying a ticket before Tuesday night’s draw then it would mean a lot. Talk soon......
Sample message from a parent:
Hi, I need a personal favour if you don’t mind. The kids & I are members of Bride Rovers GAA club and we are raising funds this year through our online lotto as it’s getting more and more expensive each year to run the day to day activities of the club and with the growing juvenile membership of the club we need to expand the facilities which includes acquiring 13 acres of land to be able to provide pitches for all teams to be able to train & play. The ask is only for €10 and it would be really appreciated if you could buy a line for 5 draws (just €2 a week). No pressure at all but if you could help out by buying a ticket before Tuesday night’s draw then the clan here will be delighted!!

Hi, I hope you are well and looking forward to the country opening up after the pandemic and the excitement of the GAA season starting. I have a personal favour to ask, Bride Rovers are currently acquiring 13 acres of land to develop facilities for our ever growing juvenile membership and with expenses growing every year we need some help with fundraising. The ask is a small one of just €10 contribution to the online lotto (1 line for 5 draws so €2 a week). The link is here https://bit.ly/BrideRoversLotto The jackpot for next Tuesday’s draw is €19,200 with additional lucky dip prizes each week for everyone entered into the draw if the jackpot is not won so there is a nice prize for someone with luck on their side. There is obviously no obligation to contribute but all help is greatly appreciated and as Chairman of the club I am trying to lead the way for others to follow. Thanks, Ger

Hi, I have a personal favour to ask. I'm heading up a major sport development with my club Bride Rovers. We are currently purchasing and developing 13 acres of land to develop facilities for our ever growing juvenile membership, and we are looking to offset our level of borrowing from the start. The ask is a small one of just €10 contribution to the online lotto (1 line for 5 draws). The link is here https://bit.ly/BrideRoversLotto The jackpot for next Tuesday’s draw is €19,200 with additional lucky dip prizes each week for everyone entered into the draw if the jackpot is not won. We will have extra spot prizes each week across late Feb and March. There is obviously no obligation to contribute but all help is greatly appreciated.
As Secretary of the club I am trying to lead the way in getting this all in place. And I'd love to hand you a cheque for €19,200. Thanks Mike
