Cork Senior Ladies Football:

Best wishes to Katie and Sarah and the Cork Senior Ladies Football team who play Meath in the first round of the All Ireland Senior LGFA Championship on Saturday 10th July in Birr at 2pm. Best of luck from all at Bride Rovers.

U12 Camogie:

Saturday saw our under 12 camogie team hit the road again with a trip to Banteer.

Fourteen girls represented the club on our trip into Duhallow on what turned out

to be a great afternoon both weather wise and sporting  wise.

Our hosts started the game much quicker than us and the scoreboard reflected

that by the first water break, however some wise words and astute moves from our manager Joyce soon

had the girls steadying the ship.

From the beginning of the second half until the referee called for the ball the girls forced the play and battled their way back

into the game and onto the scoreboard, indeed earning a draw in a really entertaining game which in truth no team deserved

to lose, with the real winner being camogie.

Well done and thanks  to all the girls and parents

U8 Camogie:

Well done to our U8 Camogie team who played Sars at home on Saturday last in a camogie blitz. The girls were divided into 3 teams of 5 and played 3 games. It was a great performance by all girls on the day and all the girls showed some fantastic camogie skills. This was our third blitz in 3 weeks and all the girls have improved their skills over the last few weeks. We look forward to training in July and more games in August. Thanks to all mentors and parents who helped out on the day and made this possible for the girls. Thanks also to Sars for travelling down to Rathcormac. Well done girls!

U16 Football:

Our third football match of the season saw us take on Glanmire in Buck Learys Cross on Monday night.

Glanmire we're keen to show us who was boss and got a few nice goals in the first fifteen minutes.Rovers struggled to get organized however they dominated the next fifteen minutes even though the score board didn't represent there efforts.

Serious chats were had at halftime and we went out fighting. Glanmire didn't lie down and continued there dominance as well as making there lead higher.

Our girls battled hard in the last fifteen but Glanmire kept bringing the game to to them and the scores to match.

Hard luck to our Rovers girls on this occasion and well done to Glanmire.

Final score 6-13 to 1-10

 Junior Ladies Football:

Our Junior Ladies travelled to Aghada on Monday last to face Aghada in the Junior East Cork League. Both teams were evenly met but after a fantastic performance from our 15 players who travelled on the night, our ladies proved too strong for Aghada and came out on the winning side on a scoreline of 1-11 to 2-3. Well done to all and to Megan who stepped up and played a superb role as our goal keeper on the night. It was a brilliant game of football and best wishes for the next round of the league.  Guess the Score Fundraiser:

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to our Guess the Score fundraiser recently. This was a vital fundraiser for the club as many fundraisers have been cancelled or postponed due to ongoing covid restrictions. All support is greatly appreciated and we thank everyone for their efforts in making this fundraiser a success.

 Registration Forms:

Registration is now over due and it would be much appreciated if any overdue forms could be completed and returned to lead mentors with payment as soon as possible. As we are unable to fundraise at present due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, it is vital that we get membership back at resumption of training. A PDF version has been sent to team WhatsApp groups. If you cannot print this PDF, hard copies are available at training sessions. The Registration fees are as follows; U6-U10 €55 (Football and Camogie), U12-Minor €80 (Football and Camogie), Adult Football €100, Adult Camogie €70, Adult Dual Player €120, Adult Non-player/Mentor €40.
