Under 15's win Premier 2 Football Cup...
We travelled to Pairc Ui Chaoimh last Saturday to take on St Nick's in the Premier 2a under15 football challenge cup Final. With heavy rain in the previous days getting a pitch was a problem. Well done to Rebel Og Central for getting the use of the 4G All Weather Pitch at Pairc UI Chaoimh which was great for a Competition Final. We played against a strong wind in the first half with St. Nick's getting the first second scores. It took our lads a while to settle playing football on the astro for the first time but when they did we played some lovely stuff and going in at half time two points up, 1 4 to 0 5 with our goal coming from Cillian Tobin. We played very well in the second half using the wind to deliver great ball into our forward line. Tough the city side added two goals to make it a tight contest our lads stayed in control. Louie Roche netted our second goal and we ended up running out winners on a scoreline of 2-8 to 2-6 It was great win for a great team. They have competed tremendously well this year at both hurling and football. Proud Captain Conor Hazelwood was presented with the cup at the end of an entertaining game. Well done toall the players and mentors for a superb year.

JUVENILE CLUB TABLE QUIZ.
On this Friday November the 6th the Juvenile Club will hold their annual table Quiz in the Rathcormac Inn at 8.30pm. Tables of 4 are €40 with all proceeds towards the funding of the Juvenile Club. Anyone who regularly reads these notes will have noticed that over the last five or six years the number of games played at juvenile level from under 6 to under 18 has increased by about 300%, a massive increase. It's great to have such numbers of players coming up through the ranks but costs a lot to run the Juvenile Section. Friday night is both a major fundraiser and an evening of fun and craic as well at the end of a wonderful season. Please come out and support this Quiz.
