Munster club victory for our Senior Ladies..
Our Senior ladies footballers had a great win over Kerry champions Rathmore last Saturday in Mallow in the Munster Senior B plate quarter final on a scoreline of 5-10 to 1-18. We were slow out of the blocks and Rathmore had the opening scores but once Grace Culloty opened our account we settled well into this game. A point from a free by Katie Quirke was followed by a great goal from Leah Hallihan. Points from Jen Barry and Grace Kearney were followed by a stunning goal from Jen Barry to put us ahead, while two more points from Katie and Grace Kearney had us 2-07 to 0-11 up at the short whistle.
U14 GIRLS FOOTBALL Bride Rovers 3 – 3 Barryroe 8-4
We finished our U14 season last Saturday when we played a county camogie quarter final at home to Barryroe. We started off well scoring the first goal of the game within the first 5 minutes. Having not played a camogie match since July the girls worked really hard and put in a great effort but Barryroe proved too strong for us over the 60mins. Well done to all
