Senior Hurling Championship Draw..

After our first round defeat to Douglas in April our name was in the hat for the Round 2 draw held last Tuesday night in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. We are drawn against North Cork club Ballyhea. Ballyhea were beaten by Blackrock in their opening round, but they are renowned for their battling qualities and are always difficult to beat. This game will be played early in August and the venue is likely to be in North Cork.

Ref FM Div 1 H League

We have three games to play; our next game is at home to Newtwonshandrum provisionally fixed for Thursday 20th June. We are in contention to claim a semi-final spot in this league so another win would be important in securing a top four position; our other games are against Ballyhea and Newcestown. The league will conclude in July this year before the Championship re commences on the August weekend.
