U14 LADIES FOOTBALL

Glanmire 2 -11 Bride Rovers 0 - 7

On Sunday5th May we played the East Cork Semi Final against Glanmire.  From the throw in Glanmire played the better football and while we had put ourselves into scoring positions on numerous occasions we just couldn't hit the target and only managed 2 points in the first half.  We started the second half much better and got 4 points in succession.  At one point we came to within 2 points of Glanmire but they answered with a couple of goals to put the game out of our reach.  We will be back training this week to prepare for the East Cork B Final in a couple of weeks.

U12 GIRLS

Bride Rovers u12 girls travelled to Castletownroche last Thursday to play Ballycastle in a challenge. On a lovely evening it was great to see 60 young girls enjoying the game of football. The girls played 2 competitive games with all players getting full game time. A big thanks to Ballycastle for the invite and organising the referees.   Well done to our U12 girls who beat Rockban on Monday night.
